Learned a lot in my reading this week. Like how the more equal your marriage, the better the sex. And how fat-infused water is a thing. And how for all its efforts, science still can’t quite explain love. Speaking of love, a coworker of mine lost her young husband two years ago, but emerged from grief with an enduring life lesson: Be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
I didn’t think much about civil war in Yemen until I encountered these images. I’m pretty upset about how Russians are destroying perfectly good cheese. Not at all upset about One Direction breaking up, and tickled as hell over this fake letter from N’Sync’s Joey Fatone to One Direction.
Also recommended: the oddly specific fears for my children, what happens when a journalist responded to annoying PR emails with ‘I Love You,’, and the friendship vows between one woman and her ex.
I think this is the first worldiest of first world problems.
Back to vacation,
