You're Not The Worst [#82]
Hey y'all,
Happy Spring! My allergies are back, and with it all over-the-counter drugs. I am doubling or tripling the recommended dose of allergy meds. My father is a pharmacist, ok? He told me that was totally cool. Also I think I inadvertently became an allergy med "influencer" because the other day I tweeted my appreciation of Flonase and today I got a box full of Flonase (original and the new Sensimist®) from "The Flonase Team." Does this work for other drugs?

Werk and Musings
The sex crimes scandal shaking K-pop is about a lot more than the music biz. My podcast convo with NOHO HANK of HBO's Barry fame. His name is actually Anthony Carrigan, but he is so Noho Hank that it's really hard to separate the two dudes. Also, Friend Harper developed the film from the disposabl camera he gives guests, Washington DC was weird, as usual, but I randomly ate breakfast next to Harrison Ford. And we're getting closer to putting out some Future You with Elise Hu! That's what an informal poll chose for the name of the next iteration of my experiential, "trying things" videos, the first one which comes in May.
Watch and Listen
The You're the Worst finale was perfect. So was the Catastrophe finale.
Trump plays "Name That Person"
Barry is back on HBO, and it is so, so, hilarious and layered at the same time.
Stuff Your Mom Never Told You re-upped its excellent primer on Yellow Fever, aka Asian fetish, just in time, because then NPR's Invisibilia put out an hourlong episode on race and sexual attraction which examines the same situation but from another lens.
Jenny Lewis is back with a new album, after waaaay too long. It is dope. Git it.
As always, send your recommendations and comments and quips and questions!
Yours in Flonase,
Elise
